Ambitious about Autism is a national charity for children and young people with autism. They raise awareness and understanding, and campaign for change as well provide specialist education and support through TreeHouse School, The Rise School and Ambitious College.
Ambitious about Autism worked with Autism Education Trust and Department for Education to produce a digital toolkit which will help post 16 professionals to transition autistic young people into employment. The product is a downloadable guide which will exists on both the AET and AaA website.
This free to access toolkit contains editable templates that can help careers professionals understand young people’s skills, experience, career goals and ambitions, tips to help young people prepare for job interviews and information to support employers working with autistic young people.
In the three months since its launch in June until August 31, 2021, it has been downloaded 1,285 times.
