World Autism Awareness Week (WAAW) is a week used to raise greater understanding and awareness of autism among the general public. It is a time of year where a member of the public (who may know nothing, or very little about autism) might read an article or see social media activity that would help them learn something new.

This year’s theme is acceptance rather than awareness by highlighting the facts and myths around autism.

We’ve been working with Pyrus and Elisavet since 2018. In that time, she’s helped us to develop and stretch our brand’s visual identity with great results. Ambitious about Autism has a broad audience base ranging from young autistic people, and parents and carers of autistic children to stakeholders, staff and decision-makers. Elisavet’s creative style has helped us produce a range of materials that are true to our brand, engaging and effective across multiple channels - both print and digital. Elisavet is flexible, quick to respond and provides useful insight and advice – just what we need as a relatively small marketing and communications team. A talented and experienced graphic designer, Elisavet has become a great asset and extended member of our team.
