The Participation Team at Ambitious about Autism they created the project called ‘Autistic and OK’ in collaboration with Zurich and the Z Zurich Foundation. The aim of the project is to introduce preventative mental health support for autistic young people in mainstream secondary schools. Autistic young people in year 12 will co-design and deliver peer sessions to young people in years 7 to 11 on topics relating to mental health and autism.
#AutisticandOK programme toolkit is available for all secondary schools to download for free.
‘Autistic and OK’ needs to have it’s own unique style and feel within the Ambitious brand guidelines. This content was converted into a series of powerpoint presentations, resources, information sheets, worksheets, posters, and, in collaboration with an other agency, a video. Together, these elements form a comprehensive toolkit designed to facilitate impactful mental health support for autistic young people.
