AJ Morrisroe & Sons was founded by Brian Morrisroe in 1983 to meet with a growing demand for reliable sub-contractors specialising in groundworks and reinforced concrete frame construction. Since then, Morrisroe has become one of the UK’s leading concrete frame contractors and is the largest trading company within the Morrisroe Group.
They have recently went through a rebranding process and I was approached to help them develop their branding guidelines to define, design and develop the company’s branding in a consistent and authentic manner.
Brief: Improve the visuals of existing dated powerpoint presentations.
Idea: I wanted to create fresh simplified visuals. I needed somehow to tie all four presentations as currently they all had different styles. My idea was to create an icon that that will run on all four presentations, something that will be recognisable and tie the presentations as a part of one group.
Execution: I created the icon based on a leaf shape divided into four sections. Each section represents the four seasons.I used simplified typography to be easier for the client to update copy regularly and tried to simplified the rather busy imagery on some slides.
